Chef Samantha Farrington is a California native that has always felt a strong pull to the Napa and Sonoma wine country.
Working in wineries in Napa and Sonoma for almost a decade, Samantha developed a strong passion for wine. After earning her Sommelier certification from the Guild of Sommeliers, Samantha became fascinated with creating food and wine pairings. She worked with multiple local private chefs and catering companies in Napa/Sonoma before deciding to launch her own private chef company, Sonoma from Scratch, in 2016, .
Samantha is now based in Sonoma and spends most of her time cooking in the kitchens of private homes and vacation villas for guests visiting the Sonoma/Napa Valley. She enjoys spoiling these happy guests with unique, customized menus using locally sourced produce and meats. Her cuisine is brimming with flavor and has a fresh, Mediterranean flare that makes her dishes irresistibly delicious.
